The first automatic robot production line in the domestic motorcycle industry has been put into production in Chongqing for one year. It is reported that the production efficiency has increased by 42.8%, and the production line is located in the new construction site of Huaxi Industrial Park in Chongqing with an annual capacity of 1.5 million sets of motorcycles and engines.

　　 Robot replaces manual welding.

　　The reporter saw in the new factory that on the 9 workstations of the welding production line, 11 FANUC welding robots were set in two rows of symmetry. These two-meter-high yellow robotic arms were turned up and down, and the welding process emitted arcs and sparks. At the same time, the short and powerful sounds unique to spot welding and gas welding are densely emitted. And the automatic transporter shuttles back and forth along a fixed line to transport the motorcycle frame and various production materials for the welding robot.

　　The reporter noticed that in this welding production line, in addition to the need for workers to manually put the frame on the automatic transport vehicle, the entire production line no longer requires manual operation by the workers, achieving automatic production without humans.

　　The pass rate has increased by nearly 30%.

　　Beside the welding line, the company each placed a separate frame for the FANUC robot and the hand-welded frame for comparison. It can be clearly seen that the frame of the FANUC robot welding frame is straight and smooth, the solder joints after welding have a beautiful appearance and high welding quality, while the manual soldering points are not straight enough and the solder joints are rough.

　　 Lei Qianhong, deputy general manager of the construction industry company, said that the first robotic production line of the domestic motorcycle industry, which is based on FANUC robot automation, has reached 90% of automation, 42.8% of production efficiency, 97% of pass rate from 70%. According to reports, after the completion of the new plant, the construction company's production capacity increased by 50%, reduced workers to 7,906 people from 11,660 people, a total reduction of more than 3,000 people. The construction area has been decreased to 230,000 square meters from the original 311,000 square meters  and the demolition area has been reduced 98,000.49 square meter, compared with the original site, but the output reached 11.2 billion yuan per square kilometer and the net asset  2.2 billion yuan, more 238% of profit before the demolition.
