The Shenzhen Robot Innovation and Development Forum was held in Shenzhen Civic Center On 19th December. More than 30 enterprises and institutions such as Shenzhen Youbie Technology, Yifeng Automation Technology and Leibai Technology won the 2016 Shenzhen Top Ten Robot Parts Enterprises, the top ten robot system integration companies, the top ten robot companies, the robot industry technology innovation awards and the leading robot manufacturing companies.

　　 Shenzhen robot industry needs to seek breakthroughs in key technologies.

　　The forum was hosted by Shenzhen Economic and Trade and Information Technology Commission, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen Robotics Association, Shenzhen Robot Youth Expert Committee, and Robotics and Intelligent Systems magazine.

　　2016 is a year in which Shenzhen robots continue to develop rapidly. It is estimated that the robot industry in Shenzhen will be expected to reach more than 70 billion yuan this year and form a prototype of an important emerging industry. As the representative of the service robot in Shenzhen, Zhou Jian, chairman of Shenzhen Youbike Technology Co., Ltd. believes that service humanoid robots will be innovated and researched on AI scenes, speech semantics and algorithms in future.

　　Zhan Kai-Feng, deputy general manager of Shenzhen Yifeng Automation Technology Co., Ltd. said that Shenzhen's biggest advantage in developing the robot industry is the relatively concentrated talents, and Shenzhen gives fertile ground for the development of talents in terms of policy support and tolerance of talents. Facing the current difficulties in the robotics industry in Shenzhen, Zhan Kai-Feng believes that Shenzhen also needs to learn from and integrate the technology of foreign advanced robotics teams, and seek breakthroughs in key technologies and links through overseas mergers and acquisitions, industry-university-research cooperation.

　　In order to further encourage the innovation and industrial development of the robot industry in Shenzhen, the awarding committee composing of Shenzhen robot industry experts and the editorial board of Robotics and Intelligent Systems Magazine selected top ten robotic key components enterprises in Shenzhen and top ten robot system integration, enterprise robot industry technology innovation award, top ten robot companies etc.

　　Subsequently, the Shenzhen Robotics Association, China Telecom Exhibition, and Keda Xunfei signed a cooperation agreement. The three parties will jointly build the most professional and largest artificial intelligence technology main building in China Electronic Information Expo (CITE) held in April next year.
